We are on the lookout for passionate and enthusiastic retailers to manage the successful operation of our supermarket stores in Arnhem Land NT. This role does not have a permanent home base as you will travel between remote communities to provide relief support to our Supermarket stores when required.Just bring your luggage and we will take care of the rest!What You Will Be Doing... Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote Indigenous community Train and mentor local team members Deliver on ALPA's nutrition policy Replenish and monitor stock levels, forecasting demand and ordering additional products or goods to maintain an optimal inventory level Work with merchandising, nutrition and local stakeholders to meet community needs What We Are Looking For... Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale and staff management Strong interpersonal skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities and cultures Ability to manage the unique challenges of remote communities including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains and cultural considerations/sensitivities Why Join ALPA?
