Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurses to take the next step in expanding their career and join the Cancer and Wellness Centre Team. This new role will enhance the delivery of care to women living in ERH catchment areas. Key responsibilities include: Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to care, support and coordinate care in line with optimal care pathways. Continuously evaluate the client’s condition and response to interventions and modify the BCN management plan to achieve optimal health outcomes. Provide expert Breast Awareness advice and professional support to all community and professionals about clinical management, research and other professional and emerging issues in breast cancer. Utilise screening tools to guide individual care planning that promotes a client’s ability to participate in care decisions and self-management of health needs, according to assessment of client’s preferences and resources. Qualifications/experience required: Registered Nurse with AHPRA. 3+ years’ post registration experience in surgical, medical oncology or breast care nursing.
