Job Description
The True Sport Project Officer is responsible for assisting with all development and implementation resources, education, and delivery of the True Sport Program. The True Sport Program includes current initiatives such as Mental Health and Wellbeing, Child Safeguarding, and Sideline Behaviour. This role will assist in the delivery of current and future initiatives for True Sport as the program expands to the Western Australian sporting sector. This position is a multi-faceted project role which includes program delivery to the Western Australian sporting sector including but is not limited to: Assistance with program development, management, delivery, and implementation of current and new initiatives Resource development and review/updates Workshop and webinar planning and event delivery Digital communications and promotion Representation in internal and external advisory groups Stakeholder engagement and presentations to the sporting sector The True Sport Project Officer position is varied and requires someone who is able to manage multiple projects with autonomy and adapt to sector needs. The position reports to the True Sport Manager and will require a dedicated person with experience in project management, stakeholder development, and understanding of project implementation within Sporting Organisations. As this position is solely funded by a project grant from the State Government, the position is on a fixed-term contract basis and will terminate on 30th June 2027. This term is in line with the grant agreement that is funding the position. What now?
