THE ROLE Operate machines to achieve the required loads per shift to maintain production levels Possess excellent housekeeping standards to ensure machinery is kept clean and tidy. Maintain awareness of location within the mine and radio calls are maintained, resulting in a continual smooth truck cycle Delivery and pick up of equipment such as tools, piping, services, and anything else that is needed Removal of waste items from Underground work areas to waste dumps Provide ground support to Jumbo Operators and assist with general mining services and installation of ground support Assist with all operations including offside operators Be organised and undertake all assigned tasks by the Shift Supervisor Be familiar and comply with all Company Procedures, Guidelines and Work Methods applicable to your role WHAT DO I NEED Minimum 12 months underground truck operating or nippering experience (essential) Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) (desirable) Knowledge and understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act & Regulations A can-do, team-oriented attitude Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable Candidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance (or be able to obtain).
