Due to our ongoing success and growth, we are looking for a driven sales professional to join the team at our new Geelong location, opening March / April 2025. About the ROLE Leading a busy team and reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will work to manage the overall performance of our brand new, expanded location. Your focus will be on achieving monthly sales figures and revenue targets whilst offering exceptional customer experience. In this role, your responsibilities will include: Sales Leadership: Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. Train and develop individual performance as required. Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of used vehicles, ensuring optimal stock levels and a high quality of vehicle presentation both in store and online. Competitive Pricing: Effectively manage and price stock to optimise performance within the context of KPI's. Sales Process: Manage the sales process from initial contact to vehicle delivery, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs, concerns, and any complaints in line with the Car Mate Warehouse philosophy. Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results. Negotiation: Negotiate prices and terms with customers. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Location Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the location to ensure smooth running and a continual high standard in customer experience. You will be fully supported by centralised teams for marketing, finance, software, and HR. Skills and Qualifications: Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills. Sales: Proven sales experience in the automotive industry, particularly with used vehicles. Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport with customers. Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of used vehicles and the automotive industry. Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles and financial management. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively. As a retail business, all members of the sales team are expected to work 5 days per week including Saturday with a regular RDO Monday to Friday. A full driver's license is required for this role.
