Job Description
We are seeking a talented Utility Solution Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions tailored to utility industry clients, ensuring effective integration with existing systems. Responsibilities: Analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements for utility solutions. Design and architect comprehensive solutions that integrate various technologies, including grid modernization, renewable energy integration, smart grid technologies, and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI). Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, functional specifications, and user stories. Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and vendors to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture within the utility sector. Proven experience designing and implementing solutions for electric, gas, or water utilities. Strong understanding of utility industry protocols, standards (e.g., ANSI, IEC), and regulations. Experience with utility-specific software platforms and tools for asset management, customer information systems (CIS), or geographic information systems (GIS). Familiarity with smart grid technologies and IoT applications in the utility domain. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Relevant certifications in solution architecture or utility management are preferred.
