About the Orange Movement Launched in 2022, the Orange Movement is a global initiative led by IIX to integrate gender equality and climate action into financial markets . As part of this movement, IIX introduced Orange Bonds , the world’s first gender-lens and climate-focused asset class designed to: Mobilize $10 billion in capital markets by 2030 Impact 100 million women, girls, and gender minorities Position women and gender minorities as key players in climate mitigation and adaptation The Orange Movement operates through strategic partnerships, financial innovation, and advocacy to transform global finance into a more inclusive and sustainable system. The program is currently funded by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) for the next three years , providing a strong foundation for growth. The Head of the Orange Movement will be responsible for executing the current program effectively while securing additional funding to expand its reach and impact. About the Role: The VP of Programs & Governance at IIX is a crucial leadership role responsible for the effective execution and operational excellence of IIX's programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with its impact finance goals and adherence to best practices in governance. This role oversees program design, impact measurement, financial accountability, internal governance, and grant acquisition to ensure sustainability and maximize the impact of IIX's work. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership & Execution: Lead the execution of key initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with IIX's overall strategic objectives and impact finance goals. Impact Measurement & Evaluation: Develop and implement robust impact measurement frameworks in close collaboration with IIX's analytics team. Financial Management & Accountability: Oversee budget management for all programs, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and adherence to financial policies and procedures. Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with international standards for impact finance, gender-lens investing, and non-profit governance. Grant Acquisition & Management: Identify and apply for grants from foundations, governments, and other funding sources to sustain and expand programmatic work. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including program staff, partners, beneficiaries, and donors. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of program and operations professionals. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve program effectiveness, efficiency, and impact. Strategic Planning Support: Contribute to the development of IIX's overall strategic plan, providing insights and recommendations based on program experience and data. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Launch at least three major programs in financial inclusion, climate resilience, and gender finance within three years. Achieve at least 85% impact target success rate across all initiatives. Ensure full financial transparency and compliance across all funded projects. Secure at least $3M in program grants in the first three years. Required Qualifications: Education: Advanced degree MBA or Master’s in Public Administration, International Development, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience may be considered. Experience: 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in program management, preferably within the impact investing, international development, or non-profit sector. Expertise: Demonstrated success in leading the execution of complex programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Proven track record of developing and implementing impact measurement frameworks and managing data collection and analysis. Extensive experience in budget management, financial reporting, and program governance, including ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Communication Skills: Exceptional public speaking, writing, and storytelling abilities. Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate vision into action and drive measurable results. Collaboration & Leadership: Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects. Location: Fully remote within APAC region with availability to travel. Why Join IIX?
