Job Description

About InLife: InLife is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation committed to providing high-quality support to individuals with disabilities. We are advocates for the full separation of housing and support services and work tirelessly to empower people to live their best lives. The Role: This newly created role is pivotal in helping InLife continue to grow. It’s a unique blend of relationship management, vacancy management, and business development. The ideal candidate will be a natural point of connection between internal teams, external stakeholders, and potential clients, supporting individuals with disabilities to access the right housing and support services. Key Responsibilities: Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with key external stakeholders, including SDA/SIL property providers, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and government bodies. Act as the main point of contact between potential clients/their families and InLife’s client service team. Foster strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing across internal teams to ensure visibility of property vacancies. Represent InLife at property provider open houses and community events. Vacancy Management and Allocation: Work with InLife’s Property Manager to manage and update the vacancy database for properties InLife supports (covering OSS, SDA, and Shared SIL properties). Collaborate with the Client Service teams to understand the ideal tenants for existing vacancies and allocate accordingly. Work alongside the Finance Business Partners to ensure the commercial viability of potential clients within vacancies. Assign and secure clients for vacancies with the Client Service Managers. Business Development: Develop strategies to engage with key external stakeholders, including promoting InLife’s products and services. Support Client Service teams in engaging with clients in relation to available vacancies. Administration and Support: Oversee the day-to-day management of the vacancy database and enquiries mailbox. Ensure property information is regularly updated on property promotion websites (e.g., Housing Hub). Participate in meetings to provide reports and recommendations for continuous improvement of the vacancy management function. About You: To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in the Disability Sector: A keen understanding of various housing and accommodation types for individuals with disabilities is essential. Property Vacancy Management Experience: While experience in property management (ideally rental properties) is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Strong Interpersonal Skills: You’ll be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders in a professional and personable manner. Customer-Focused Mindset: Strong listening, communication, and customer service skills are essential. Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Passion for Advocacy: A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work. Benefits: Generous salary and benefits, with salary packaging available. Highly flexible working model. Positive and fun team. At InLife, diversity and inclusion is part of our DNA. We celebrate the amazing differences we all bring to our work and we actively ensure that everyone feels safe and supported in our workplaces. We welcome and encourage applications from everyone and our hiring decisions will never be based on things such as your gender identity, disability, age, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or cultural background - because they simply aren’t relevant to doing an awesome job (and you are protected from this kind of discrimination under Australian law). #J-18808-Ljbffr
