Valuer/Graduate Valuer and/or Asset Inspector Working for us Australis Asset Advisory Group (Australis) is proud to comprise one of the most experienced, dynamic multidisciplinary teams within the asset advisory field in Australia. Australis is at the forefront of the industry, providing insightful advice and lending a skilled eye to the management of specialist assets, including land, buildings, plant, equipment, and all categories of infrastructure for large asset portfolio clients across the Asia-Pacific region. About this role We are looking for a technician with some background in field data collection, asset management, or condition assessment. Importantly, this is a ‘work from home’ role with high requisites for travel at stages through the year. Primarily we are an asset consultancy business, and the role will initially include the following tasks: Inspection form creation Asset identification, measurement, and data collection Data analysis Valuation expertise or Building Inspection and Compliance experience would be desirable. The role will evolve in line with your developing skillset to include: Strategic asset management advice Professional valuation services Client workshops and training Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with and learning to deliver the following: Engaging in self-motivated learning objectives. Completing work within a project workflow environment. Meeting client-set project deliverables under supervision of senior staff. Collaborating on consultancy projects with small interdisciplinary teams. Researching asset management strategies and lifecycle analysis. Practising good hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies for project field work. What you need To be in the running for this position, you will need to have the following: Required Relevant formal qualifications (Degree, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or industry trade) in Valuation or Building Inspection or demonstrated experience in a similar position. Class C Drivers Licence, and be a confident driver in remote areas. Ability to work independently and unsupervised, in remote areas . Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work to achieve team goals. Ability to communicate with effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to acquire skills in the use of custom computer software tools. Ability to travel at short notice throughout Australia and be flexible to specific project time and locality constraints. Ability to achieve appropriate solutions to client-identified problems. Experience in asset management, risk assessments, building inspection, or valuation services. Quality assessment and compliance experience in asset management. White Card. First Aid training.
