Job Description
Devonport Community House holds popular community Shoppers Runs and a Library Run, where they pick up people on the lower Devonport Peninsula, take them to New World Devonport or the Devonport Library, and drop them home again.Drivers collect the van key and van from the Devonport Community House, complete the run, and drop the van and keys back to the House. Requirements: Drivers should hold a valid and clear driving licence, be comfortable driving an 8-seater van, and be comfortable helping older people in the community (a few require help to get up into the van). A Police background check is required for this role. Time commitment: Occasional Tuesday afternoon 1-3:30/4:00pmOccasional Tuesday morning 9am-11:30am or Thursday afternoon 1-3:30pm to help out our existing drivers (1x/month) Getting started: The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
