About The Role An exciting opportunity to lead the launch of a bold new dining destination in Chippendale. As Pre-Opening Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing this concept to life—building the team, shaping operations, and setting the standard for an exceptional guest experience. This is your chance to leave your mark on a venue that blends primal open-flame cooking with refined, modern hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team from the ground up. Work closely with F&B Operations Manager to shape service standards, operational procedures, and venue setup. Ensure all compliance, licensing, and safety requirements are met before launch. Assist in stock management and back-of-house systems to ensure a seamless launch. Oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless, high-energy guest experience. Lead and inspire the team, fostering a strong culture of excellence. Drive revenue and manage budgets, ensuring financial success. Maintain the highest food, beverage, and service standards in line with the venue’s bold identity. Continuously refine and improve operations based on guest feedback and business needs. Skills & Experience Proven experience in a leadership role within a high-energy, premium restaurant or bar. Strong ability to recruit, train, and build a team culture from scratch. Prior pre-opening experience, with a track record of successfully launching and establishing a venue will be highly regarded. Operational expertise across FOH and BOH, including compliance, supplier management, and cost control. Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business success. A hands-on leader with a dynamic, problem-solving mindset.
