Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Venue Sales Manager located in Sydney CBD. The Venue Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all sales activities across our venue; The Tea Room QVB. The role is primarily focused on the selling and event coordination of wedding receptions and corporate functions. Along with the responsibility of day to day venue office requirements and managing a team, meeting sales targets and exceeding customer's expectations. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of the Sydney wedding market and have a proven sales track record. A high level of customer service and a fine eye for detail is paramount. You will have an eager sales drive and be a results-driven leader. You will be adept at multi-tasking, enjoy a fast-paced environment and have a competitive nature to reach sales targets. Your daily focus will be, however not limited to: Proactively following sales leads Preparing quotations and creating suitable event packages Conducting site inspections Client conversion Converting inspections into bookings Achieving monthly sales KPI's Working with the Director of Sales in generating new business opportunities Event coordination Weekly reporting to Senior Leadership Team Managing the office team Position is full time either Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday based in the heart of the CBD.
