Located within a busy Petbarn store we have 2 spacious consult rooms, a cat ward, dog ward, large prep room area and a fully equipped surgery room. We have a friendly clientele, both well-established long-standing clients as well as lots of new faces recently finding their way to us - we pride ourselves on the close relationships we have with our clients! There's always something to learn or a laugh to be had! We are a down to earth, easy going, and compassionate team who would love to welcome an experienced and like-minded Vet Nurse! About your new role: Part-time or Full-time opportunity available Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care Performing minor procedures when required Caring, handling and cleaning all animals Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment About your skills and your experience: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with min. 2+ years of experience An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures Ability to work with initiative, as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment A calm and friendly presence Great communication and customer service skills Knowledge of RX Works andSmartflow ideal but not essential Working Holiday Visa vet nurses are welcome to apply!
