Veterinary Associate - Greencross Kawana Waters Full-time Greencross Vets Kawana Waters is co-located with a popular Petbarn store. There is a great relationship between the two teams, which ensures best practice healthcare advice and cross-referrals for our clients and their pets. Our well-appointed clinic boasts experienced support staff and a lovely, loyal clientele base. With 4 consult rooms, 2 sterile theatres and all the bells and whistles, you're equipped to provide the best possible patient care. Our hospital is equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, Vet Tome, Ultrasound, IM3 dental machine, orthopaedic equipment, Tonopen and we are proudly a stress-free accredited clinic. Our clinic is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with Noosa just up the road, and Brisbane just over an hour down the freeway. A little about your new team… We have an experienced and talented Veterinary Director who has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery. She loves to mentor her staff giving them the best opportunity to reach their potential. She has a strong following of loyal clients and team members alike. Our wonderful Practice Manager strives to make our team happy and excited to come to work. Our amazing Head Nurse is dedicated to ensuring everyone has all that they need to ensure they can provide the absolute best care to our patients. Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage your cases with the mentoring and support of our experienced team. Collaboration and mentoring between colleagues is welcomed and encouraged. We run a rotating roster and you will be given the opportunity to dive into exciting surgical procedures as well as spend time consulting and getting to know our lovely clients. We understand that weekends are for fun and an important part of creating a balance in your work and life, so weekends involve only a 1:4 rotation on a Saturday. We offer flexibility in our rosters with the option to work 4 days (or 5 shorter days). Our clinic is open until 6pm so you will still be able to make dinner or drinks with your loved ones.
