Greencross Vets Warners Bay is the perfect practice for a senior veterinarian with existing leadership experience and a great sense of humour, to join our team of positive and outgoing nurses and passionate vet associates, to help us provide top-tier veterinary care to our long-standing clients of the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle region. This opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with at least 4 years post-graduation experience, who has demonstrated strong clinical leadership and proven management skills, a desire to nurture the development of junior vets and nurses if required, and is comfortable consulting, diagnosing, and treating companion animals with autonomy.Bonus points if you have good time management and you’re an approachable coach, or should we say ‘Captain’, whose natural style is to mentor in a collaborative manner. While we are a super fun crew, our standards of care are no joke to us, so to be considered for this role you must hold a Veterinary degree from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations, and at all times be committed to delivering fear-free, compassionate, and industry-leading health care and advice to our patients and their loving families.
