Veterinary ECC Internship - Greencross Vet Hospital Full-time Enhance your Veterinary skills with an ECC Internship at our state-of-the-art facility at Greencross Veterinary hospital in Werribee! Deliver exceptional patient care utilising advanced treatment options including Tesla MRI, 128 slice CT and dedicated ICU & ECC wards. New graduates welcome to apply. February 2025 start. Our multidisciplinary veterinary hospital offers western Melbourne pet owners and their pets access to GP, Emergency, Anaesthesia, Oncology, Medicine and Neurology . Our team is dedicated to supporting future veterinary practitioners studying at The University of Melbourne with clinical experience. About the Internship We are driven to develop a strong team culture delivering excellent 24-hour veterinary care and customer service to the Western Melbourne region, where your ideas, suggestions, and participation will be valued. As an Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Intern, you will work closely with our team of experienced Emergency Vets and have close involvement with our other departments. You will assist with ECC cases and be closely involved in the assessment, diagnosis, and post-operative care of a diverse variety of challenging cases. The successful applicant will also spend time working within the emergency department as a primary clinician. Facilities include CT, 3T MRI, exotics animal suite, two state-of-the-art Getinge Servo-U ventilators, separate Emergency and Intensive care wards, and on-site University clinical pathology and anatomic pathology laboratory. About you Candidates must have a recognised Veterinary degree in Australia and be eligible for veterinary registration in Victoria , possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong knowledge base on which to build.
