About the position: We are looking for a part-time or full-time experienced veterinary nurse to join our team. We are looking for a vet nurse who is passionate about implementing their high standards of patient care and can fulfill both hospital and surgical nursing roles. This is a hands-on nursing role for an experienced nurse; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to monitor anaesthetics, perform pre and post-operative procedures, collect and run blood/urine samples in Idexx machines, dental and radiology procedures, IV placement, fluid therapy, administering medications, critical care nursing, admitting and discharging patients, and love all things nursing. About you: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician preferred, but a veterinary nurse with the right experience is welcome to apply (and will be supported in gaining Cert IV qualifications if desired). 2+ years’ experience with well-rounded nursing skills. Registered Veterinary Nurses are highly regarded. Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic.
