This role is suitable for new or experienced candidates, with loads of support to be provided by your regional manager. Responsibilities of this role include: Leading the Clinic Team in partnership with the Lead Vet and Head Nurse (if applicable) by encouraging a positive culture of accountability, empathy, and openness. Proactively managing the clinical scheduling for optimal efficiency. Manage recruitment in partnership with the Lead Vet, Regional Manager, Head Nurse, and recruitment team. Compile fair and effective rosters in response to business needs and budgets. Issue rosters with reasonable notice, manage and approve timesheets. Demonstrate balanced decision-making with consideration of both clinical and commercial outcomes. Manage inventory, cash balancing at end of day and stock taking processes. Create and manage the implementation of uncompromising standards of care in the delivery of veterinary and nursing, medical and surgical services while fostering a focus on preventative healthcare amongst staff and patients. Ensure a safe work environment for all employees and contractors, both psychologically and physically. Drive a customer-focused culture and demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of customer service with all team members. Effectively communicate and consult with clients, vets, and team members on all enquiries, including complaints, grief support, reminders, and procedure follow-ups. Desirable skills to succeed in this role are: Business management and team leadership experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and excellent time management. Responsible, organised, self-directed, and efficient. Willingness to learn and be dynamic. Self-motivated and show initiative.
