The Assurance Division's role is to provide comprehensive and reliable Vetting, Psychological, and Protective Security services that meet and exceed its clients’ needs. The Role A Vetting Analyst will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of vetting services. Based in one of our corporate offices in Canberra, Brisbane or Perth, you will support your Team Lead to deliver vetting services to Omni’s clients. You will use your research skills to gather and analyse information and make security assessments and recommendations about clearance suitability in accordance with standards set by the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and other policies and guidelines. You will be empathetic, conscientious and resilient. You will be sensitive to the customs, practices, cultures and beliefs of others, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with people from different backgrounds. Importantly, you will be comfortable discussing sensitive and personal information. Key Accountabilities Deliver Vetting services to Omni clients in accordance with relevant policies, processes and agreed KPIs. Conduct checks and perform administrative functions for vetting assessments. Gather and analyse security relevant information. Conduct interviews, develop assessments and make recommendations about an individual's security suitability to hold a clearance in accord with risk management principles. Effectively represent Omni and liaise with a range of stakeholders and clearance subjects from diverse backgrounds. Assess an individual's suitability to hold or maintain security clearances that permit access to national security classified material. Undertake Quality Assurance activities, as required. Provide timely reporting or escalation of issues to the Team Leader. Identify areas for process optimisation and efficiency improvements within the Team and Branch. Contribute to a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability. Collaborate with Team and Branch members to ensure cohesive and efficient operations. Ensure compliance with best practice, Defence Industry Security Program, Protective Security Policy Framework, Defence Security Policy Framework, Australian Privacy Principles, recommended record-keeping requirements, client, and Omni policies. Assessed as suitable to hold and maintain a minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance. Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills. Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting). Analytical experience (vetting and/or intelligence). Ability to work in one of our corporate locations.
