Job Description
We are seeking a Vice President to join our Wholesale Banking team in Sydney, specializing in Corporate Sector Lending. Description This role involves working closely with large corporate clients across various sectors, providing tailored loan products that meet their unique needs. The successful candidate will have a meaningful impact on client success and business growth by advising and structuring lending solutions, executing transactions, and supporting Financial Markets and Transaction Services. You will be responsible for covering large Australian corporate clients across sectors such as construction, services, transport and logistics, metals and mining, manufacturing, electronics, and retail. Main Responsibilities: Originate and develop business with corporate clients across various industries. Prepare credit proposals and manage the credit approval process. Negotiate loan documentation with clients. Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals. Support the coverage team in origination and business development. Develop creative lending solutions and communicate effectively. Implement sustainability goals and active balance sheet management. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in deal-making and credit analysis in banking. University degree in business, economics, law, or relevant discipline. Experience in syndicated loan markets and executing club deals. Strong analytical and client focus skills. Good negotiating, relationship management, and sales skills.
