Job Description

The purpose of our visual arts program is to promote equity for disabled and disadvantaged community and professional visual artists, and to enable them to create, showcase and sell artwork. In this role, your purpose will be to lead and develop a visual arts program. Responsibilities include: Lead the visual arts team to deliver authentic personalised artworks including print making Recruit and manage direct support staff Lead marketing activity and brand awareness opportunities Ensure process and system compliance Optimise income generation opportunities Investigate further funding opportunities through networks Assist with reporting and grant acquittals Selection criteria includes: Experience working in visual arts development is required Leading, supervising and managing teams High knowledge and experience in the field of Print Making Exceptional administrative, project management and organisational skills Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures Strong communication and networking skills; ability to build effective internal and external relationships Disability awareness Blue Card and NDIS clearance required Benefits include: Based at Redcliffe Artel Studio Grow your career with a leading not-for-profit arts organisation Tax-Free Savings: Increase your take-home pay by packaging up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax-free, including novated lease options.
