Electoral Commission of South Australia Job reference: 649427Location: 5000 - ADELAIDEJob status: Long Term ContractEligibility: Open to Everyone Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) is seeking an experienced project management professional to join our team. The Voice Program Lead will initiate, plan, implement, coordinate, and deliver the 2026 First Nations Voice to Parliament election. The First Nations Voice to Parliament election elects a group of Aboriginal people to operate as an advisory body to parliament on matters of interest to and/or of impact to the Aboriginal people of South Australia. In 2026, this election will be conducted concurrently with the State Election. Reporting to the Deputy Electoral Commissioner, specific key responsibilities include: Formulating, planning, and coordinating the design and delivery of the 2026 First Nations Voice to Parliament Election, including developing project plans to manage the end-to-end project activities and execution. Developing and implementing procedures, processes, work instructions, and training ensuring appropriate application of and compliance with legislative requirements. Facilitating meetings and liaising, consulting, and negotiating with stakeholders. Preparing regular briefings and reports for Executive and leadership team. Providing appropriate guidance and effective supervision of staff allocated to assist with project delivery. Undertaking the formal evaluation and review of projects at conclusion. As the successful applicant, you will have previous experience in successfully planning, delivering, and evaluating significant projects, the ability to work autonomously and effectively under pressure, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of drive and professionalism. Special conditions This vacancy is offered on a temporary term basis up to 30 June 2026. In order not to compromise the strict neutrality of the Commission, no person who is active in political affairs or intends to carry on this activity may be an employee. Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the Commission finds satisfactory. Extensive out of normal working hours duty may be required during the period of an election. Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
