The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here at Hammondville. As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in a residential care home. Spend time engaging with residents one-on-one or in small groups. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. Requirements We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday.
