WANTED - TRADE ASSISTANTS - Metal Fabrication Kerr Engineering is a large Western Australian fabrication and general engineering company based in Henderson, located within the Australian Marine Complex. We are a rapidly growing company with an excellent reputation for efficiency, reliability, quality, and workmanship. Our busy workshops are used for structural steel work, plate work, equipment fabrication, machining, and repair servicing.We are currently looking for Labourer / Trades Assistants for an IMMEDIATE START. Duties and responsibilities will include: General Workshop / Yard duties. Assist trades personnel in Metal Trade. General upkeep of equipment (Housekeeping). In order to be successful you must possess the following: Current forklift licence. Good communication skills. Self-motivation (Can do attitude). Ability to work unsupervised. Ability to read engineering drawings (would be favorable). High level of commitment. Applicants must be eligible to work permanently in Australia. Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.00am to 3.30pm)Friday (7.00am to 1.30pm)Overtime is also available. Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience and ability. Immediate start available, would best suit candidates located locally. How do your skills match this job?
