Description About the Company Together We Deliver Wormall Civil has been in operation for 40 years and has built a reputation becoming a leading Western Australian Civil Construction company that strives to provide excellence in engineering, construction, and project management services. We are currently working on multiple projects across the metropolitan area from Two Rocks to Mandurah and from Australind to Margaret River in the southwest region. About the Role The role of a Workplace Health Safety Environment, and Quality Advisor is responsible for promoting and implementing safety, health, environmental, and quality standards within an organization. The primary responsibility of a WHSEQ Advisor is to ensure that the organization complies with relevant safety and environmental regulations and that all employees are trained and equipped to work safely. Adhere to Wormall Civil policies and procedures. Ensure safety duties as directed by the WHSEQ Manager are fully undertaken. Always behave in a manner which brings credit to yourself and Wormall Civil. Ensure quality relationships are maintained with fellow work members. Developing, implementing, and maintaining safety, health, environmental, and quality management systems within the organization. Fill out required paperwork to record quality assurance data as required. Preparing reports and analysing data related to health, safety, environment, and quality performance of construction sites. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to WHSEQ in civil construction projects, including emergency response plans and environmental management plans. Provide support on directed nonspecific tasks from the WHSEQ Manager, to be completed within set time frames. Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on all matters relating to safety, health, environmental, and quality management. Lead teams to perform required services; especially when a safety issue is raised and developing recommendations to prevent their recurrence. Monitor and report on WHSEQ performance using key performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management. Always maintain confidentiality and be tactful. Liaising with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with legal requirements. About You Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Shall have industry experience. Experience producing correspondence, written reports, and instructions to a professional standard. Strong leadership skillset with experience displaying skillful communication. Confident and reliable. Ability to plan and resource manning requirements A current and valid Western Australia Drivers Licence. A current and valid Construction Card (White/Blue) Cert IV in Work Health and Safety. Appropriate experience for the duties being carried out. Ability to work unsupervised. Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form. Ability to establish work priorities and complete tasks on time. Ability to effectively utilise computer software and equipment.
