Job Description
Standard Hours: Start time: 6am Monday to Friday Additional Hours: Occasional Evening and weekend work Salary: Based on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse/Delivery Person to join our team in Revesby. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of flooring materials to sites, removal of waste from sites as well as assisting with minor warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Delivery Duties: Safely load, transport, and deliver flooring materials to sites. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Maintain delivery logs and records. Warehouse Duties: Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing incoming materials. Prepare and stage materials for delivery. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary). Basic computer skills required. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Valid forklift license. Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role, preferably in the flooring industry but not necessary. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50kg). Strong organisational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Skills: Knowledge of flooring materials and products (preferred). Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts). Attention to detail and accuracy.
