Join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract as a Warehouse Inventory Supervisor based at our Dandenong Manufacturing Site. In this role, you will manage and control inventory across logistics functions and provide supervisory support. Key Responsibilities: Ensure cycle counting, stocktakes, and ad hoc material checks are performed as per process and schedule. Investigate and report on all stock discrepancies. Monitor and manage warehouse performance KPIs, Good Receipts, Put Away, and Line Feeding. Provide support to front line workers. Maintain a major role in the development and encouragement of continuous improvement programs within the Site Warehouse Operations. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence and/or repetition of product non-conformances, railway safety, OH&S, and environmental incidents, or process and systems deficiencies. Ensure safe work practices are carried out in line with the company’s safety and environmental guidelines. Contribute to the development of effective Materials Resource Planning requirements. All About You: We value passion and attitude over experience and don’t expect you to have every single skill - fundamental requirements are outlined below; Sound background in all aspects of warehousing and logistics including kitting/picking and inventory. Sound computer experience with an emphasis on the Microsoft suite of business applications, particularly Excel, is considered essential for this role. Previous experience working in a Railway environment would be advantageous. Extensive contract and project-related warehousing and logistics experience. Ability to read and interpret internal and external reports. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices, as well as a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of techniques related to inventory control and kitting activities.
