Job Description
The Warehouse and Inventory Manager will report directly to the Global Production Manager and will be responsible for inventory and warehousing across Australia, UK/Europe and the US. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who is looking to grow their career in inventory/logistics/supply chain and warehouse management with Jack N’ Jill on a global scale. Responsibilities: Inventory Management : Inventory planning and the replenishment ordering process to ensure stock availability aligns with forecasted needs, while maintaining stock levels and turnover to meet KPIs across global warehouse locations. Support the management of system parameters that control stock levels in line with KPIs. Proactively identify, report, and escalate any supply chain constraints or issues. Warehousing & Logistics: Direct freight forwarders and manage inbound receipts with 3PL warehouses, ensuring stock is accurately received, stored, and distributed according to company guidelines. Oversee new SKU setup, stock reconciliation, and the management of slow-moving inventory. Support stock takes, reporting, and data entry activities. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders and warehouses regarding ETAs, PODs, transfers, delays, damages, returns, redundant stock processes, and billing; ensuring that 3PL KPIs are met. Prepare and analyse inventory reports to support decision-making. Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. Manage inventory master data in ERP systems and stock forecasting tools. Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain processes. Required Skills & Experience: Must have experience in an inventory controller role within FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics/supply chain operations; ideally in the health & beauty industry. Experience managing inventory in a high SKU environment, particularly when supplying to major retailers. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances. Ability to work independently while also demonstrating effective teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
