A day in the life As the Wedding Sales & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the sales and coordination of all weddings, conferences and other events within the RACV City Club, managing the expectations and requirement of the client from the initial enquiry through to the conclusion of the event and follow up. You’ll be successful in the role, because you can manage multiple events concurrently, exceptional communication and negotiation skills and strong industry knowledge. Each day in the role will be different; you’ll prepare quotes and invoices, convert bookings to confirmed events, conduct site inspections and meetings while offering guidance to customers in relation to catering, room allocation and set up when needed. You’ll also prepare event orders, liaise with internal departments, and prepare post event reports through personal follow up to ensure the customer expectations have been achieved from event inception to delivery. Key Responsibilities Previous Wedding and/or Event Coordinating experience in a similar 5-star hotel or venue A passionate people person who strives to make everyone’s day special Sound understanding of F&B operations & the event management industry A flair for creating and identifying business opportunities A solid understanding of sales principles and techniques Exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external stakeholders We’re offering… A competitive salary including weekend & evening penalties Discounts on RACV insurance, products & services Free roadside assistance Application process Interested?
