Weighbridge Operator / Administration Officer We have an exciting new position available for a passionate and customer-focused Weighbridge Operator/Admin Officer to join our ResourceCo team. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will provide customer service in ResourceCo’s weighbridge operation, giving you daily interaction with our drivers and customers both face to face and over the phone. Your excellent and positive customer service skills both face to face and over the phone, together with strong communication and organisational skills will see you succeed in this role.Additionally, your ability to learn quickly, especially around all different waste materials along with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively will add further to your success. You will have key responsibilities in: Ensuring correct ticketing, charging, and destination of waste received at the depot, as well as the dispatching and ticketing of outbound materials Inspecting loads to check for any non-conforming products Understanding and abiding by the requirements of EPA License relevant to the site EPA waste tracking documentation Administrative tasks as required such as completing reporting requirements through various systems Identifying incoming waste streams and subsequent production of weigh tickets Effective cash handling, EFTPOS transactions & document tracking About you: Previous experience in a Weighbridge Operation (preferable) Intermediate to Advanced level computer (MS Office) skills, particularly Excel Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills Demonstrated cash handling and cash balancing experience Knowledge of the Waste industry (preferred) Who we are: ResourceCo is a global leader in the recovery and re-manufacturing of primary resources, with operations spanning Australia and South-East Asia.
