Your New Role As a Welding Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating new business growth through value-added selling to targeted key end customers and driving sustainable profitable business. The scope of this role incorporates the completion of a full sales cycle through product demonstrations, value-added welding & heating recommendations, and technical support. Position : Welding Sales SpecialistLocation : Newcastle, NSWFull time Permanent Starting Time : ASAPSchedule : Mon - Fri, 7am or 8am start flexible, 38 hrsSalary : $100,000 - $120,000 plus Super Your key actions Direct engagement to the targeted key industrial end customers to develop and convert sales opportunities to revenue. Work in conjunction with the Distribution Sales Team to complete the full customer purchase journey from lead, opportunity to sales and final implementation. Utilising and contributing to the formation of a comprehensive regional key account business mapping and prioritising regional key end customer visits within the target market segments. Develop and implement business strategy in achieving new business growth within the targeted market segments. Meet and exceed regional sales budget from assigned industrial product categories. Develop effective and proactive working relationships with internal customers. Ensure internal customer offerings meet and/or exceed customer needs and manage expectations. Develop professional relationships with external customers. What You’ll Need To Succeed Qualified Boilermaker eg: Certificate III in Engineering, or Qualified Welding Inspectors/Supervisors eg: AS1796 Cert 10, IWS/IWI, or related trade/engineering qualifications Drivers licence Strong knowledge of welding processes and applications Sales experience in welding or related industrial products within the Heavy Engineering sector and structural market segments (Preferred) Understanding of industrial fabrication and maintenance practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Full working rights in Australia What Will You Get In Return Extremely competitive base salary Company vehicle + mobile phone + laptop Join an industry leader in welding Potential bonuses depending on sales 38 hr work week with flexible start times Secure long term employment Ongoing training & development #J-18808-Ljbffr
