About the Role: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Wellbeing Assistant to assist our wellbeing team in our 190 bed aged care residence based in Officer. The ideal candidates will need to be people-oriented, creative, and become part of a fun and supportive team who enjoy spending quality time engaging our residents in purposeful and engaging programs. About You: You must be experienced in delivering varied lifestyle programs and also comfortable with learning new technology to make a difference to our residents' physiological, physical, and emotional wellbeing! Previous experience in a similar position as a Lifestyle Assistant in Aged Care is desirable Preferred applicants will have a Certificate IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent or Cert III or IV in Aging and significant demonstrated Lifestyle experience Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Fully approved Covid-19 vaccinated We believe the Lifestyle Assistant is a member of the Lifestyle team that is the heartbeat of any residence, setting the tone of the emotional environment for our residents and the staff that care for them.
