About the Role The Wholesale Credit Risk & Asset Risk Analyst role is responsible for preparation of reporting, monitoring, administration & the delivery of new initiatives relating to Wholesale & Asset Risk portfolio including the development and delivery of reports for all varying levels of stakeholders, standardisation of tools & templates for the broader Asset Risk & Wholesale Credit team. In this role you will have the opportunity to combine elements of financial analysis, risk management, and asset evaluation, to grow our portfolio while minimising risk exposure. Develop and automate advanced portfolio monitoring systems and response mechanisms using available data. Prepare and present monthly key KPIs for the wholesale and asset risk portfolio to stakeholders, including ERMC, Finance Executives, the Commercial Department, and the Asset Risk & Wholesale Credit Team. Deliver reports such as Dealer Limit Utilisation, Make/Brand Performance, Audit Performance, CRR Distribution, Stock Aging Analysis, Early Warning Portfolio Monitoring, and Asset Risk GFV, Exposure & remarketing KPI reporting. Manage the monthly APRA Wholesale submission. Enhance and standardise wholesale credit tools, reports, and templates to align processes across the team. Perform End-of-Month Wholesale (ECL) and Asset Risk Provision reporting. Collaborate with the portfolio risk team and wholesale dealer managers to streamline processes and improve reporting consistency, including DRF pack development. Align with Wholesale departments to support growth initiatives. Manage and improve DASH (Dealer Management Financial Records), a system for monitoring and evaluating key KPIs for wholesale customers. Support the Asset Risk team in updating and managing the remarketing register and stock inventory management. Champion productivity and efficiency initiatives, including system automation to enhance data integrity, availability, and process efficiency. Monitor and address expired bailments reporting proactively. Strengthen the risk culture, governance, and framework for the wholesale credit and asset risk portfolio. Key Capabilities Interpersonal Communication Writes & converses clearly & effectively with clients. Plans own work to ensure day to day work & annual reviews scheduled & completed. Analysis / Problem Solving / Innovation Ensures evaluation of risks & credit worthiness is within policy. Applies sound credit & risk management approaches. Service Delivery Liaises with both customers & staff at other corporations. Provides specialist service on range of products/ services incl complexity. Can provide options to client & guide to most suitable product. Identifies customer need & responds accordingly. Teamwork Identifies & reports opportunities to improve team processes. Works across teams to help implement & deliver results. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary and professional qualifications in a business-related degree, relevant to the finance services industry preferred. Credit experience in Wholesale Automotive, Financial Services or Commercial Banking. Sound financial analysis skills. Advance Reporting, Analytics & Data Management skills: SQL, PowerBI, Excel & PowerPoint. Effective business acumen and Automotive industry awareness. Proven ability to operate efficiently within a team environment and build lasting relationships externally and internally. Advanced communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
