This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on market-critical initiatives, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and driving efficiencies across energy trading and operations. WHAT’S ON OFFER MELBOURNE CBD based. $900.00 a day inclusive of superannuation exposure to working alongside one of Australia’s largest energy providers. 6-month rolling day rate contract. THE ROLE: As a Wholesale Energy Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing, documenting, and optimizing wholesale energy market operations. You will work closely with key stakeholders to enhance systems, streamline processes, and ensure regulatory alignment within a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve wholesale energy market operations. Work closely with teams to streamline Parasystems processes and enhance system capabilities. Engage in requirement gathering, process mapping, and business impact assessments. Support system upgrades, integrations, and regulatory changes within the energy sector. Ensure alignment with market frameworks, compliance standards, and operational best practices. Stakeholder Engagement – Ability to liaise with business, IT, and regulatory teams effectively. Industry Experience – It would be beneficial if you have previously worked at AGL, Jemena, EnergyAustralia, AusNet, or similar organizations.
