Identify and pursue new wholesale business opportunities, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with wholesalers to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new product opportunities and sales approaches. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale customers, acting as the primary point of contact. Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Understand client requirements and work closely with the sales and production teams to fulfill their needs. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance of wholesale orders. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts and track performance against targets, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives. Provide regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitive analysis to senior management. Analyze sales data to determine trends, identify high-performing products, and assess the success of promotional initiatives. Product Distribution & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and production teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery to wholesale clients. Monitor inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet wholesale demand without overstocking. Coordinate with external distributors or third-party logistics providers as necessary for efficient delivery. Pricing and Profitability Management: Develop pricing strategies that optimize profit margins while remaining competitive within the market. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure pricing structures align with company goals and profitability objectives. Monitor and adjust discount structures, promotional offers, and contract terms to maintain healthy margins. Contract Management & Compliance: Negotiate and manage wholesale contracts, ensuring terms align with company policies and industry standards. Ensure all wholesale transactions are compliant with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, and transactions for auditing and reporting purposes. Marketing & Promotional Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and incentives tailored to wholesale clients. Work with the marketing team to ensure wholesale customers are informed of new product launches and seasonal promotions. Ensure the wholesale network is aligned with brand guidelines and that marketing materials are consistent with company standards. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and train a team of wholesale sales representatives or support staff. Set clear performance goals for team members, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture that supports business growth and customer satisfaction.
