As a Wildlife Officer, you will work to protect, conserve, and manage the sustainable use of Queensland's native wildlife. The work is regionally based and delivered throughout Northern Queensland. You may be required to undertake short-term stays in remote locations with little or no facilities available. Wildlife Officers play a vital role in delivering effective conservation and regulatory outcomes for Queensland's native species and ecosystems and their safe interaction with the community generally. Wildlife Officers have a focus on wildlife management, including working with crocodiles, cassowaries, and flying-foxes. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
