Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) Professional Services Division in Canberra as we seek a driven, highly skilled and competent, NV1 , NV2 , TS PV cleared, EL1, Senior Infrastructure Engineers to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers. About you Previous experience with implementing, managing and retiring the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. Previous experience with Gateway Engineering. Previous experience with designing, building, testing and operating ICT systems, such as a gateway capability to connect to outside networks. The gateway capability required solution is heavily focussed on the collection, inspection, transport and assurance of data between security classified environments. Solution development will require extensive consultation across various technical teams in order to ensure all equities are represented in a complex ICT environment. About the role Job Duties and Responsibilities Research, design, implement and manage software. Develop and operate a windows server platform including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services and WSUS. Design, test and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system, build and maintain system images and provide integration for VMware. Integrate and support management and security software and configurations. Integrate with MFA solutions. Implement regular checks to confirm system status, including hardware and software. Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems. Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues. Manage server migration when required. As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical team. Job Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated experience in the design, test and deployment of new versions of the Windows operating system. Demonstrated experience with and/or detailed understanding of security software associated with Windows operating systems. Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment.
