We are currently seeking a skilled Wintel Engineer to support a large-scale migration project for a renowned healthcare organisation. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Wintel Engineer to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting the migration of Windows-based servers to a new IT infrastructure. This will be a hands-on, full-time, on-site role, where you will work directly with the client’s technical teams to ensure the migration process runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Work on the migration of Windows-based servers to a new IT infrastructure. Perform assessments of existing systems and provide technical expertise for the migration process. Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless migration. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the migration. Provide documentation and reporting as needed. Ensure all processes adhere to the highest standards of security and compliance, especially given the healthcare sector's stringent requirements. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Wintel Engineer or in a similar Windows server support role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments (Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, and above). Experience with server migrations, particularly in large-scale projects. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP , and other related technologies. Knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus. Experience working within a healthcare environment or other regulated industries is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
