Position Overview The Domestic and Family Violence Service provides support to people who are experiencing or have a history of Domestic and Family Violence. Providing a Safety-First response by placing the person's safety at the centre of the decision making and seeking to address their physical, emotional and holistic needs and enabling recovery and sustainable safety. As the Women's and Children's Wellness Case Manager, you will work independently and as part of a team to provide tailored support to Women and Children impacted by Domestic or Family Violence. Desired Skills and Experience You will: Support families to make meaningful changes in the short, medium and long term. Encourage children and young people to contribute their views about positive changes within their families. Support children and young people to meet their emotional, physical, developmental and practical needs. Support the families to create safe and nurturing environments for the children and young people to learn and grow. It is essential for you to have: Current Australian Drivers Licence. Relevant experience in Homelessness, Domestic/Family Violence or similar positions, in a paid or voluntary capacity. Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related discipline. A tertiary qualification in a Human Services related discipline (e.g. Social Work) will be highly regarded. You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required. Can you provide a brief summary of how you can ensure accountability while working off-site independently? Your responses to these questions should contain examples where possible.
