Due to the growth of our Work Health and Safety and Risk Management function, we’re seeking a proactive and capable Work Health and Safety and Risk Coordinator to provide administrative and coordination support to our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll contribute to enhancing WHS compliance, organisational risk management, and business continuity plans. What you will do This role needs someone with plenty of initiative to perform the following tasks under limited direction: Assist with risk management policies and procedures and advising and educating stakeholders. Support risk workshops, maintain risk registers and support business continuity plans. Support the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks across Minda. Contribute to audits, reporting and presentations to support the function. Perform general administrative and coordination duties. Assist the development of a strong culture of safety and risk awareness across the business. What you need for Success Experience in similar roles focused on WHS, risk management or business continuity. Experience assisting to facilitate audits, incident investigations and critical events. Demonstrated knowledge and application of Australian WHS legislation and standards. An understanding of organisational risk management and business continuity principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Great time management and attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and WHS management systems. An approachable and positive personality with a genuine passion for workplace safety and risk management. An understanding of Self Insurance Performance Standards/ISO 45001. Certificate IV in Risk or WHS. Other: NDIS Workers Screening and DHS Working with Children’s Check.
