About the role Reporting to the Head of Software & Data Engineering, the Workday Administrator (Finance) will play a key role in leading the business-as-usual operation of Workday’s Finance and Spend Management modules. You’ll work closely with Technology, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure the effective utilisation, continuous improvement, and maintenance of our Workday environment. Areas of responsibility include system configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, enhancements, and user training. By optimising our finance modules, you’ll help drive key initiatives to enhance processes, ensure data integrity, and support reporting and analytics to improve organisational performance. In this role you will: Act as the primary administrator for Workday Finance modules, including Financial Management, Revenue Management, and Spend Management. Perform configuration updates, security role maintenance, and issue resolution. Ensure the governance of financial data, maintaining data integrity and compliance. Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams to define requirements and recommend system enhancements. Provide training, guidance, and technical support to end-users. Coordinate and manage Workday release cycles for Finance modules, conducting impact analysis and testing. Develop and maintain Workday financial reports, dashboards, and analytics. Ensure compliance with Tennis Australia’s policies and financial regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. What you will bring to the role: Demonstrated experience administering and configuring Workday Finance modules (e.g., Financial Management, Procurement, Supplier Management, and Expenses) Strong understanding of finance processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and revenue recognition Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Experience coordinating software upgrades and managing change A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with cross-functional teams Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field Workday certifications in relevant finance modules are desirable What’s to love?
