Collaborating with leadership and operational teams, you’ll support the establishment of a safety-first culture within our growing network of early childhood and school-aged care programs. Job Description Lead WHS Implementation: Mentor others to effectively execute WHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices. Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate safety risks across MACSEYE’s services, including capital build projects and school facilities. Incident Management & Reporting: Support incident investigations, drive systemic improvements and ensure legal and internal reporting compliance. Wellbeing & Mental Health Programs: Design initiatives to promote staff mental health, resilience, and overall well-being. Injury Management & Return to Work: Implement early intervention programs, injury management and RTW processes that prioritise outcomes for employees. Training & Awareness: Deliver safety training to build capability and foster a strong safety culture. Qualifications & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) . Minimum 5 years’ experience in WHS, injury management, and compliance, preferably in education or community services. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and safety systems. Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills to drive safety culture. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment. What’s in it for you?
