Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety - Associate We are seeking an experienced lawyer with between 3-5 years' PQE to work across a range of workplace relations, employment and safety matters. The Role A great career opportunity has arisen for an experienced lawyer to join our Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team in Melbourne. You will work with two leading partners and their team, working on a range of matters. This is an opportunity to move into a growing firm and work on high-end and often complex issues. In this role you will work across a range of matters including: Assisting clients in drafting, interpreting and advising on employment agreements and company policies and procedures; Advising on and managing industrial relation issues faced by clients; Providing guidance on workplace issues including terminations, grievances and disciplinary processes; Interpreting employment legislation such as the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth); and Conducting litigation such as unfair dismissal, general protections and breach of contract claims. Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have between 3-5 years' experience in a reputable employment law practice or an in-house role. We are looking for a lawyer that has the ability to work closely with partners and clients in a collaborative environment. You will have strong communication skills, the ability to think critically and provide strategic legal advice, and exceptional organisational and time management skills.
