As the Electrical Workshop Coordinator at Bis Industries, you’ll oversee the overhaul, repair, and compliance of our underground services fleet while fostering a safety-first, high-performance culture. Your Role: Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you’ll: Coordinate electrical services, ensuring equipment meets AS3800 and statutory compliance. Develop and audit management systems, risk assessments, and training programs. Lead and mentor a team of electricians, apprentices, and trade assistants. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations to uphold Zero Harm principles. Foster strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and service delivery. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor/Advanced Diploma), NSW Qualified Supervisor Licence, and Trainer Assessor certification. 5+ years of experience in an AS3800 workshop or mining environment, with expertise in Ex components maintenance. Advanced computer skills, including CMMS (JDE preferred) and Excel. Proven leadership experience with a strong safety and customer focus.
