We are urgently seeking your experience in a fast-paced project/program environment (private or public sector) for upcoming temporary assignments with a Queensland Government department in Brisbane CBD. Anticipated to June 2025 (may extend), the duties include: Support the prompt delivery of program milestones and deliverables by contributing to project tasks including high level research, preparing reports, presentations, media and communications, and handling internal and external correspondence. Contribute to the development and implementation of program monitoring, evaluation, analysis and reporting. Monitor program risks and issues and support the development and implementation of mitigation measures to effectively manage these. Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, tailoring messages to suit a variety of audiences. Participate as an effective team member and work collaboratively to build and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. These may include delivery partners, government agencies, stakeholder groups and members of the public. Apply critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills to program administration and management tasks. Complete tasks within tight timeframes in a busy environment as part of a team, or individually. Work flexibly and dynamically within a high performing and cohesive team responsible for delivering energy government programs, policy and initiatives. To be considered for these opportunities, you should demonstrate: Aligned experience in a fast-paced project/program environment (private or public sector). Prior experience with the energy (or similar) sector desirable, but not essential. Confidence learning and using computer systems, including confidence with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Well developed communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to engage positively with a range of stakeholders. A hybrid flexible work arrangement may be able to be negotiated (after an initial period) and the casual hourly rate will be negotiated based on skills and experience in the range of $58.02 – $63.59/hour (includes 25% casual loading).
