MSREI is hiring a Summer Intern who will be based in the Sydney office with coverage over Australia and New Zealand real estate investments. Responsibilities / Job Description The Intern role is a generalist position that provides broad exposure to a variety of real estate sectors across different structures (asset and share deals, as well as operating platforms) and across the life-cycle of investments. Participating in transactions from the buy-side perspective on behalf of proprietary real estate investment funds, including global opportunistic funds and regional core investment strategies. Conducting market research to analyse trends and assist with formation of investment strategy. Creating financial models and investment committee materials to evaluate new opportunities. Supporting the execution of business plans for existing investments and recommending asset management initiatives to maximise value. Qualifications / Skills / Requirements You are a university student in your penultimate year of study with outstanding academics. Interest in financial services industry and real estate investing. Strong aptitude for numbers and ability to analyse and interpret complex information quickly and accurately. Ability to communicate ideas clearly and succinctly. Results-driven and able to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines. Proven team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities.
