Business Analyst (Product) Department: Product Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Sydney Description The Business Analyst is responsible for managing product features and creating innovative solutions for customer requirements. This role demands adept problem-solving, meticulousness, and effective task prioritisation. Engagement with clients, collaboration with diverse teams, data analysis, and clear communication are essential. Reporting to the Technical Product Manager, the Business Analyst will be an integral member of the Product team and will work collaboratively with their colleagues to contribute to the development and optimization of legal solutions that enhance productivity and compliance, ultimately supporting the organization’s strategic goals and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Product requirements and design: Specifications in the form of epics, stories, BDD scenarios, user journeys and wireframes. Validation of requirements and designs: Run interviews with clients and stakeholders to learn about relative priorities and likely usability of product concepts and designs. Run early adopter programs with customers to ensure built product delivers an excellent user experience. Agile product owner to development. Participate in sizing, grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives. Support scrum master, developers and testers in their understanding of requirements. Quality Assurance: Sign offs on unit tests & test plans. Perform acceptance testing of user stories. Documentation and training: Produce or support the production of documentation such as product description, user guides, trainer guides, training material and more. Tier 3 support: As product SME, facilitate the resolution of escalated customer support issues. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 5+ years’ experience as business analyst/product manager/agile product owner (important) Agile development methodology (important). User experience research/validation methodologies (desirable). Degree Business/IT (desirable) ITIL Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar (nice to have) Domain knowledge of any of the following: (nice to have) Business use of practice management software (desirable) Business analysis skills Quality assurance skills Documentation skills Communication and presentation skills User experience research/validation skills Benefits At Dye & Durham we strive to be visionaries!
