About the role As a Graduate Tax Accountant, you will: Assist in preparing tax returns, financial statements, and tax compliance reports for a diverse range of clients. Work closely with senior accountants, managers, and partners to deliver tax planning and advisory services. Develop expertise in corporate tax, GST, FBT, and international tax matters. Gain hands-on experience using cutting-edge accounting and tax software. Be part of a structured graduate development program, ensuring your success as a future tax expert. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your skills with extensive training, development, and support through our internal Early Careers Program (including our National graduate conference) and the Chartered Accountant Program, as well as further relevant postgraduate studies. Who we’re after We are looking for accounting graduates with a keen interest in business who want to grow with the firm to become a trusted advisor to our clients. You: Are a soon-to-be or recent graduate (graduation date between 2022 and 2025) with an accounting major. Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen; Australian Permanent Resident; or Are an international student and will independently apply for a relevant Visa(s) with full working rights for the duration of the program. Will bring a can-do attitude, a willingness to put your hand up, have a go, and step outside your comfort zone. With a track record of working in teams and an interest in self-development, you’re looking to improve yourself and are keen to work with a wide range of clients. Have a desire to complete your CA or CPA qualification. To be successful in this role your qualities, skills, and knowledge will include: Honesty and Integrity. Exceptional organisational skills. Analytical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Knowledge and understanding of Accounting principles.
