Job Description
2nd or 3rd Year Engineering Apprentice (Welding/Fitter) Integrated Analytical Systems is a well-respected manufacturer in the Oil and Gas industry and has been operating for more than 25 years in the Bayswater North area. We are a small, privately run company where your health, wellbeing, and education are taken seriously. We are currently looking for a 2nd or 3rd Year Engineering Apprentice (Metal Fabrication) to join the team. Working with qualified and skilled engineers, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring, and support. Duties will involve: Performing engineering measurements Applying welding principles Using workshop machines for basic operations Carrying out mechanical cutting Learning extensive skills in stainless steel tubing and instrumentation installations Applying principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment The successful candidate will: Be able to undertake manual/physical work Work independently and within a team Show skill in reading complex engineering drawings Be motivated with a genuine interest in the fabrication industry Be trustworthy and reliable Have a high level of attention to detail and be result-driven Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing fabrication as a career path, be motivated, and willing to work hard to get trade qualified. The successful candidate will undergo Certificate III in Engineering. To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full working rights.
