Troocoo Troocoo Government is currently supporting a key State Government client in the recruitment of an experienced A03 HR Support Officer! This position is based in Toowoomba and is an initial labour-hire contract to August 2025. The role is looking to pay $40.12 to $44.51 per hour + super, dependent on experience.The Role The A03 HR Support Officer will support a team of experienced A05 HR Consultants. This position is incredibly dynamic and will best suit an individual that is able to pivot at short-notice and work with multiple competing priorities.The Responsibilities Include Proactively contribute to the development, documentation and implementation of internal policies, procedures and practices relating to best practice through the analysis, coordination and undertaking of HR projects. Maintain appropriate filing, administration and record tracking systems ensuring the currency and validity of HR reports. Provide advice and support on the interpretation and implementation of legislation, procedures, processes, guidelines and industrial awards. In consultation with the Human Resource Manager ensure compliance with HR policies and legislation. Participate in specific HR projects as allocated and (if applicable) provide workplace rehabilitation and return to work support to Regional staff when required. Triage a busy inbox, fielding up to 100 enquiries per day. About You A successful applicant for the A03 HR Support Officer position would bring the following:Prior experience supporting a busy HR function. A proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. A high level of both written and verbal communication. Previous exposure to QLD Government would be highly desirable. Previous experience with Aurion payroll and ServiceNow would be preferred. Ability to utilise PowerBI for reporting would be a bonus. If this sounds like the perfect role for you, please apply now!
